واضافت لقد قام مجلس النواب مؤخراً بتعديل قانون انتخابات المحافظات. ولا بد لي من القول إن بعض الأحكام تثير قلقًا كبيرًا ، مما قد يؤدي إلى حرمان العديد من الناخبين المؤهلين من حق التصويت.
ونحن نريد انتخابات حرة ونزيهة وذات مصداقية هي المفتاح لإحياء الثقة العامة.
وستواصل UNAMI تسليط الضوء على أهمية حق الاقتراع العام والحاجة إلى الشفافية والمساءلة للمؤسسات والعمليات الانتخابية.
واضافت في وقت سابق من اليوم ، سلمت العراق أكثر من 40،000 كتاب كويتي ينتمي إلى الأرشيف الأميري والمحفوظات الوطنية
وقالت يجب على العراقيين المضي قدمًا في الوحدة ومع وجود مجتمع دولي منخرط إلى جانبهم
