Obama newspaper: Israel was the one that bombed the Iranian nuclear site, Natanz, with a large bomb, meaning that an Iranian agent entered it

A Middle East Intelligence Official Said That Israel Planted A Bomb In A Building Where Sophisticated Centrifuges Are Being Developed.
The Government Admitted On Sunday That A Fire At Iran’s Main Nuclear Fuel Enrichment Site Had Caused Significant Damage, Causing The Iranian Nuclear Program To Retreat For Months, After Initially Saying That The Damage Had Been Slight.

A Middle East Intelligence Official With Knowledge Of The Episode Said Israel Was Responsible For The Attack On The Natanz Nuclear Complex On Thursday With A Powerful Bomb. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Who Was Briefed On The Matter, Said An Explosive Had Been Used.

The Two Officials Spoke On Condition Of Anonymity When Discussing Sensitive Intelligence And Operational Issues.

Doubts In Iran Focused On Israel And The United States, Which Have Sabotaged The Nuclear Program In The Past And Pledged To Prevent Iran From Developing Nuclear Weapons. The Revolutionary Guards Said That In The Past Israel And The United States Had Used Cyber Attacks To Harm Iran’s Nuclear Program, But This Was Excluded As A Reason In This Case.

Although There Was No Way To Verify Its Involvement Clearly, The Israeli Intelligence Network Demonstrated Its Ability To Strike In The Heart Of Iran, Storm A Warehouse In Tehran In 2018 And Steal A Ton Of Secret Records Documenting The Iranian Nuclear Project And Motivate Them To Leave The Country. The Israeli Intelligence Agency Mossad Gave Many Of These Records To The International Atomic Energy Agency, With Many New Evidence That Iran Might Hide From The Banned Equipment And Raw Materials.

If The Damage To Natanz Was An Attack By A Foreign Power, It Would Reinforce Iran’s Weakness As It Stifled Its Economy Due To Sanctions Imposed By The Trump Administration’s Hostile Administration And Its Residents Were Harmed By The Covid-19 Epidemic.

, Tehran Is Increasingly Isolated Internationally. Even Countries That Opposed The United States Have Recently Joined Action Against Iran, Accusing Them Of Fighting Nuclear Activity From International Inspectors.

Israeli Officials Were Mysterious On Sunday When Asked About The Possibility Of Involvement In An Attack On Natanz, Although They Stressed The Threat Of A Nuclear-Armed Iran.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz Said On Sunday In A Radio Interview With Can, The Government Broadcaster: “Anyone Can Doubt Us About Everything And All The Time, But I Do Not Think That Is True.”

“Not Every Event That Happens In Iran Is Necessarily Linked To Us,” He Added, While He Did Not Deny His Involvement In The Natanz Explosion.

Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi Told A Conference On Sunday Held By Maariv Newspapers And The Jerusalem Post, “Iran Cannot Be Allowed To Have Nuclear Capabilities.” To This End, He Said: “We Take Measures That Are Better Left Without Saying.”

In Recent Months, There Have Been Dozens Of Episodes, Including Fires, In Industrial Parks In Iran, And Are Also Attributed, On A Large Scale, To Israel As Well.

Since Thursday There Have Been Explosions At Two Power Plants In Iran, And There Has Been A Chlorine Gas Leak At A Chemical Plant, Which The Entire Government Has Described As Accidents. Last Week, An Explosion Hit A Missile Production Facility In The Khujir Military Complex In Eastern Tehran, Which Officials Said Was Caused By A Gas Tank Explosion.

The Middle East Intelligence Official, Who Said Israel Was Responsible For The Blast On Thursday, Said He Had Nothing To Do With Other Recent Incidents.

Iranian Officials Have Publicly Said They Know The Cause Of The Damage In Natanz, But Are Withholding Information At This Time.

Iran Uses High-Speed Centrifuges To Process Or Enrich Uranium. Enriched Uranium Is Used To Lower Levels In Nuclear Reactors, But Highly Enriched Uranium Can Be Fuel For An Atomic Bomb. Work Continued At Natanz To Build More Advanced Centrifuges For Enriching Uranium More Quickly.

“This Incident Is Likely To Slow Down The Development And Expansion Of Advanced Centrifuges,” Behrouz Kamalfandi, Spokesman For Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Told The Official Islamic Republic News Agency On Sunday. “There Were Advanced Equipment And Accurate Measuring Devices At This Site That Were Either Destroyed Or Damaged.”

Noted “Significant Financial Damage” And Said That The Delay Could Take Several Months, But No One Was Hurt.

“The Damaged Warehouse Is Designed For The Final Stages Of Advanced Centrifuges And The Assembly Of These Devices,” Said Kamalvandi.

The Revolutionary Guardsman Said That While Investigators Looked Into The Possibility That Natanz Was Hit By A Missile Or Drone Missile Thursday, They Believed That It Was Likely That Someone Had Carried A Bomb To The Building. He Said They Do Not Yet Know How And When The Explosives Infiltrated, But The Attack Clearly Showed A Gap In The Facility’s Security.

He Added That The Episode Would Likely Accelerate Plans To Move More Of The Most Sensitive Underground Facilities In Iran.

Under The 2015 Nuclear Deal With The United States, China, Russia And European Powers, Iran Agreed To Give Up Much Of Its Enriched Uranium, Reducing The Level Of Enrichment And The Number Of Centrifuges It Operates.

But Since President Trump Withdrew From The Deal And Imposed Devastating Sanctions On Iran, The Enrichment Program Has Gone Far Beyond The Limits Imposed By The Agreement.
